New Neo Geo Portable

I got one of these today. I like it a lot because I am playing Neo Geo games on my TV. I want more fucking credits. These games are kicking my ass.

When I play Metal Slug on MAME I'm practically tapping out morse code on the credit button the whole time. Limited lives would ruin me.

Metal slug is very beatable on easy even if you aren't a god, it just takes practice.

Ugh, censored. WHY? I'd have expected better considering the competition (Samurai Shodown & Shock Troopers on PS3/PSP say hello).
This thing needs the Haxman to save it. If there's a custom bios that makes it MVS mode with free play, I might go for one. For now, no.

Tommo has promised a firmware update is coming, and the new games will come with a USB cable to connect to a pc for transferring it. So far, they have been silent on what the update does.

The emulator is FBA. Just turn the fucking emulator options on, being able to set the bios, graphic filter and enabling v-sync would fix all of the issues I have with the thing.

I hear the French are working on it. Maybe? That's all I was able to get out of the thread on that big tymer site.

I hope so. Most of the assclowns I've seen working on the thing were just trying to pirate games on it.

Whatever motivation is required to make it happen.

Yeah, but the thing is they figured out how to pirate by external SD card, so most of them now have no motivation to actually hack the thing to enable unibios, load a custom firmware, etc.
