PC pinball games are like emulating vector graphic games. You make do with what you've got because this is the hardware that's available. No matter how good a job the developer does the real thing is always better, but the original hardware in proper working order can be pretty scarce.

I prefer the ones that don't try to emulate real pinball and do their own crazy shit that would be impossible on a real board, like Alien and Devil's Crush, Kirby and Revenge of the Gator.

You'd likely enjoy Pinball FX2 then. If you go with the Sony versions, it supports Cross Buy for all the tables.

Now I want a Flipnic 2. :(

Looks like Legend of Iya made it, just barely. I hope it turns into something good but the demo wasn't exactly inspiring.

Hopefully he gets some good feedback from the demo and fixes the movement.

So if we take a smattering of people who have worked on various Final Fantasies, Skyrim, Diablo III, Crysis 3, Valkryia Chronicles, Tenchu, and LA Noire, with music by Nobuo Uematsu, and have them make a RTS JRPG for PC, Mac, and Linux through Steam with an alternate version for iOS and Android, we'd have Project Phoenix.
I am stunned and excited that this project even exists.
I'm a little puzzled as to why it's on Kickstarter.
Now let's go back to being excited.
HOLY FUCK.
