I predict that NL baseball will be no more eventually. Everyone is moving to AL-style rules. And it fills me with sadness.

I'm sure you're right. Every other sport has made ridiculous decisions that destroyed the on field/ice product, so why shouldn't Selig's dumb ass?
Interleague play is great. How can anyone hate it?
That said, if anything, it's the American league hitting rules that need to go away. Designated hitters are a steaming pile of shit.
The DH makes baseball "athletes" look even more ridiculous compared to other sports when you have players that don't even pitch or play defense.
Interleague play was awesome in the first few years because we got to see the ChiSox play the Cubs, Mets play Yankees, etc. Now it's just another thing on the schedule. But the other games are like, vs. Orioles or vs. A's. Well, what's the point in seeing that over vs. Reds or vs. Dodgers?
Next year's schedule should be interesting with all the "everyday interleague" business. As for the Mets..my god is their bullpen utter dogshit. You can't trot out Miguel Batista for a second inning but what choice do they have? Chewbacca Rauch sucks, Parnell is now the closer while Frank Frank is on the DL, they have one loogy (Byrdak) and everyone else in the pen is trash. Can Little Jerry Seinfeld pitch?
I cannot stand everyday interleague. Cannot stand it.
In a perfect world, the DH would go away completely and every team in the league would have to play each other.
In a perfect world we the DH stays in the AL, and the two leagues don't see each other until October.
