So are the Phillies. I believe they're both tied in the wild card standings in fact. 6 games out with 21 to play. I'm really trying not to get excited because the chances of me looking at a let down are pretty gosh darned high.Quote:

Check out this article on the 2013 season with the interleague matchups (Astros vs Rangers will open against each other), Inter-city rivals will face each other 4 times (2 at each stadium) instead of six...etc. There will be an ESPN Sunday Night game to start the season, Dodgers face the Yanks twice (2 at LA and NY)..etc.

The World Baseball Classic returns as well.
As for the Mets they'll see the Twins, White Sox twice, Yanks twice, Royals, Tigers and Indians for interleague play.
I'm pathetically excited about the WBC, though it's entirely possible Canada won't qualify. :(
Damn that 2nd Wild Card spot is really keeping things interesting. Theres at least six teams fighting for it. A six way tie for it would be hilarious.
