It feels like something from a bad 80s horror movie that would have 3 seconds of shower tit

After playing the demo, I think I will wait for a sale. The actual brawling looks and feels like shit. And you can't have a successful beat-em-up game if the combat engine sucks.

Maybe I'll pick it up when online multiplayer is added.

So the going opinion is that this game is completely awesome except for how it plays?

I love how it plays.

However, it does suck for a solid hour while you sort it. Then it clicks. Then you perform a graceful death ballet through each stage. The fighting engine is not intuative, but it is efficient as hell and quite fun once you learn it. "Getting it" literally makes the difference between a sluggish play experience and a quick fluid play experience.

I recommend avoiding both grinding and two player for that first hour. You will be forced to learn the engine to progress.
