That I can agree with. They've been on a hiring spree lately, I forget all the ones people have found. I think one was a dude from Naughty Dog who worked on the Uncharted games doing environment stuff, I think they also got some one from Crytek, can't remember though.
If this is for real, what a blast from the past. Not for the bizarro franchise mashup aspect, but for the two or more totally disparate gameplay styles in one game. That happened all the time on PSone/N64, but the closest we get lately is FPSs with vehicle segments that still control exactly like your FPS dude.
It would be better if it were Kirby and Metroid.
