I guess we'll agree to disagree on the importance of the QB position. I don't think it's coincidence that we see largely the same faces in the final four year after year and you think it's more about the offensive line and the protection of the QB and I think the QB is just as important as the line in front of him.
It's also about poor decisions/bad throws at critical times - like Manning just did. Like Romo did in the last game of the year. That shows up as a singular INT in the box score, but its importance is paramount to the outcome of the game.
Going into this year, a lot of people thought the Jets had among the best offensive (though getting older) lines in football. How'd that work out for the Jets QB's?
