Yeah, and me being a NYJ/NYG fan I probably didn't watch the games and just looked at the box scores... <sigh>

I guess we'll agree to disagree on the importance of the QB position. I don't think it's coincidence that we see largely the same faces in the final four year after year and you think it's more about the offensive line and the protection of the QB and I think the QB is just as important as the line in front of him.

It's also about poor decisions/bad throws at critical times - like Manning just did. Like Romo did in the last game of the year. That shows up as a singular INT in the box score, but its importance is paramount to the outcome of the game.

Going into this year, a lot of people thought the Jets had among the best offensive (though getting older) lines in football. How'd that work out for the Jets QB's?

That was a hell of a pass from Rodgers. WOW.

By your logic, Matt Cassel must have been pretty damn good in 2008 then. I wonder what happened after that. And Matt Flynn threw for six TDs with Rodgers' supporting cast and then got benched for a rookie before he started one game in Seattle.

I agree that the timing of INT matters. In fact, INTs is a pretty worthless stat in general, because most of them have no material impact on the outcome, and some are hail marys and the like that have no down side.

McNabb had terrible Lines in front of him. The one time he had an adequate line they made the SB. Not to mention a Wideout. Oh and this year the Eagles lost a center and had rotating tackles. And Vick looked like shit this year. Not to mention Nick Foles.
