I think of all the games so far... This one is Making me a fan of Weedon. Also trent Richardson is pretty good too. Improve the d and o lines, get some god damned receivers, some bigger tigt ends, and I like the odds.

Little catches that ball for a td then the Browns probably get the win. Lets see if they can come up with a defensive stop and get it back
That was one of the most boring tight games I've watched. I think it was because if Terrell Suggs were healthy, Weeden would have thrown for 72 yards. The Ravens' pass rush will be completely nonexistent for another month or so.
I did finally figure out the trick to the "elite QB" bullshit we hear way too often. People who incorrectly think wins is a QB stat are the same ones with a warped sense of who the elite QBs are.
I'm going to combine a mailbag letter from Connor in Santa Clara and Bill Simmons response to form the perfect history of Seattle sports:
1969 — Pilots leave Seattle, become Milwaukee Brewers
1987 — Sonics draft Scottie Pippen, trade him for Olden Polynice
1994 — Sonics become first No. 1 seed to lose to No. 8 in playoffs
1997 — Sonics break up GP and Kemp so they can get future alcoholic Vin Baker
2000 — Ken Griffey Jr. leaves
2001 — Mariners win record 116 games, lose in 5 to Yankees
2004 — "We want the ball and we're gonna score" -Matt Hasselbeck
2005 — Seahawks make first Super Bowl, lose amid questionable officiating
2008 — Sonics relocate to Oklahoma City
2010 — Kevin Durant makes first-team All-NBA
2011 — Seattle establishes itself as the best MLS city in America
2012 — Blatant error by replacement refs hands Seahawks undeserved victory
Ouch
Let's move two shitball market teams to LA and then kill revenue sharing and the salary cap.
Fuck em, LA is a terrible city and already lost the rams and raiders, they don't need more NFL teams to screw up.
That was prior to the gazillion dollar TV contracts. At a minimum the Jaguars should be in LA.
Just throw two expansion teams into the league. One in London, one in LA, it could work! [/sarcasm]
Thankfully we're only dealing with the second worse commissioner in sports, so that's less of a possibility. Bettman would be all over that idea.
Owners have been trying to screw up professional sports as long as professional sports have existed. The best commissioners are the ones who don't let them and rally their support for things that make the league better.
That's where Goodell and Bettman really fail, they take their marching orders from the owners. I don't know who is worse. Goodell might not look as bad as Bettman today, but Bettman has been screwing up the NHL for 13 more years. What will Goodell's reign of error look like in 2025?
