Tebow may be a marginal improvement. He can't throw but neither can Sanchez. He's more mobile, though, so he can do more than just wait for a sack or throw it away if he can't find a receiver.
The emphasis should be on marginal there.

I can't believe Sanchez is below 50% so far this year. He's very average, but I never thought he was awful. I wonder if having Tebow in town is fucking with his head.
Probably. I mean, Rex and Mike Tannenbaum looked like geniuses after week 1, but that was week 1. Sanchez has been playing like LeBron after Delonte West got his with his mom, honestly.

I think it's more the offensive line is horrible. It doesn't matter who you put in there at QB and at RB, they're going to look terrible since the opposing defenses are all over them
I haven't seen them play yet, so that is quite possible.
OL is ranked 20th in run-blocking according to FO and 8th in pass protection: http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/ol2012\
I think the Sanchize is going to get most of the blame (and he has been terrible), but I put in "they can't catch" for a reason. Santonio Holmes was kind of terrible even before the injury and the other WRs are worse. I've seen them screw up a fair amount of decent throws.
Their top RB has 2.8 yards per attempt. He's the worst top RB in the league. Yea the OL is mediocre but not 2.8 yards per attempt mediocre.
The team is just badbadbad.
Those metrics are flawed as hell though. Dallas doesn't have anything resembling 5th best pass protecting line, but Romo is able to escape and avoid sacks, so the sack rate is deflated. The 49ers are on the other end. Alex Smith has the same athletic ability as my desk chair, so their number is inflated.
No metric is perfect but here are the details.
Even if the NYJ's rank is inflated, give him the league's best offensive line and what happens? Sanchize goes from 49% to his career average, about 55%. Maybe 58%. That's not that good either.
