I kinda hope that Tebow doesn't turn this team around because really, it isn't on Sanchez. He was never that great but come on, this team has real issues and we can't have RBs fumble or run out of bounds with 30 seconds to go so Tebow can win this year. I like Tebow, but he isn't some savior. He can throw well when he doesn't have to make decisions and can cock back and let it fly. Other than that, he cannot throw the football.
"Is Tim Tebow the answer or the problem in NY? Sarah Spain, Jemele Hill and Julie Foudy debate it"
what the hell
Mike Tanbum is the problem in NYJ.
The offensive personnel he's put together on that roster is terrible.
The Saints are playing their Super Bowl on Sunday, and it doesn't even matter if they win. Well done, Goodell, you douchebag.
At the quarter pole, here are the divisional records, excluding intra-divisional games:
NFC West: 9-3
NFC East: 7-5
NFC North: 7-5
AFC North 4-5
AFC South 4-5
AFC East: 4-6
AFC West 4-6
NFC South: 3-7
Most overrated team in the league: Atlanta. They should get zero credit for beating four teams from the two worst divisions in the league.
Also of note is that the NFC is 12-4 against the AFC.
That's a circular argument, though. If almost 25% of the losses of 'two worst' divisions are at the hands of one team, what is the chicken and what is the egg?
It's a lesser form of the issue where a college team's "ranked wins" comes from beating up a bunch of preseason ranked teams. Oregon State's win against ranked Wisconsin doesn't look so hot now, for example, although OSU is still a decent team.
Yeah
But I don't see how people can say Atlanta is without a doubt a fraud team anyway. Did anyone think they weren't going to get their act together? On paper this team is formidable (I thought it would be them or GB in the NFC). They have two A+ receivers and a QB that can get them the ball. Their defense isn't what it once was, though.
In the case of the NFC South, they'd be 0-7 without Atlanta. Your argument is fair as of today for the AFC West, but give it a few more weeks, and they'll provide the proof.
A good team makes a division better, imagine that.
I see no reason why Atlanta wouldn't be considered a good team today. Their offense is legit and their defense isn't half bad either.
