shit, it's the first time I've had to wonder this - which version to get?
Now that I have a PS3, it's not just as easy to say I'll get a game on 360 and not stress if it isn't the 'best' one. Now I could hypothetically get the best version of any multi-plat game. So...
PS3 pros - no need to pay for online (and my XBLA is ending in March), Dual Shock 3 is surprisingly comfy
PS3 cons - no one's adding me to their friend's list, does anyone even play online PS3 games anymore?
360 pros - more people I know watch Netflix on it than people who watch Netflix on PS3.
360 cons - Not as big of a fan of 360 controllers as I used to be, paying for Live another year.
Am I missing anything? Does one version run like crap, is missing stuff, anything like that?
For me it was all about which console I wanted to use. I'm done with the 360 for anything but a handy device to run .mp4 files. MS killed my interest in their consoles with years of turning the home page into a giant ad instead of something useful. PS3 version is working great for me so far, but I haven't tried online yet.
I just went back and carefully farmed level 1 on Hard for some nicely overpowered weapons. Wing Diver with shotgun lightning and high-explosive plasma is so much fun! A few more levels with her and I'll probably start working on a Fencer as well, because those guys look deadly.

Word on the street is that the XB360 version is superior, technically. And that playing an online game on the PS3 is even more jank than usual.
