I just think it's a shame that Platinum had to resort to a buyout to get the game made. But it had to happen for the game to exist so I'm happy.
I still think Bayonetta is fucking amazing and I'm sure 2 will be just as spectacular but that doesn't mean I can't say that a niche sequel on only one platform that the original game didn't come out on, that a lot of people are already kind of wary of, is far from the ideal situation for any series to be in, especially one I love.
Yea, it sucks, but the game is getting bankrolled exactly because Nintendo feels it is valuable to appeal to that group.
There's going to be a Bayonetta sequel by Platinum.

I'll almost certainly get a Wii U for this and the handful of other exclusives but oh man I'd love to see Platinum's stuff on modern hardware for a change.

I'm angry about this because I don't want to buy a fucking $400 console to play this, and they had better not use That Controller. I'm glad it exists, I just wish it existed in just about any other form. Okay, not iOS or 3DS.
