Yea, I tried it out and can see that.

However, there's a bigger problem, and it's that this game fucking blows. It's really no fun at all. The "lose the cops" missions are amazingly bad. I ditch them and the game spawns about 600 all around me. And the way the cars are fixed in one spot is annoying, and the easydrive menu thing seems nice but every time I hope in a new car there's a whole new list of shit and I need to drag my ass around.

OH, and there's nothing better than having to deal with cops while I am in the process of dragging my ass around. It's really great.

The cops really do suck, I have no idea what they were thinking

I like how they are promoting the map on the pad screen for the Wii U edition. Yeah, diverting your attention even further from the screen is a GREAT idea.

So Origin does have an upside. I definitely would have bought this near day one had they let me, so there's $50-60 saved thanks to that garbage.

The idea is that someone else is using the screen, not the person doing the racing.

It's so the annoying female voice giving you GPS directions can be your wife/girlfriend.

Yuck.

Pretty much. If you're a marketing asshole, "yuck" shows up as "asynchronous multiplayer" on the Powerpoint slide.

It's a huge disappointment. I guess there is fun to be had if you try hard enough, but it's a monster step down from BP and even HP, which I wasn't crazy about. Criterion blew it.

I still think the racing is a lot of fun. I got it for 25 the other day (minus 23 credit so 2 dollars).
