I resent the implication that Excel spreadsheets are boring. That's what I spend 80% of my work on and I quite enjoy it. It's like I'm playing a Paradox strategy game, but getting paid for it!
They are better than the alternative. I do some pretty amazing things at work with them.

'You do not meet deadlines'
My favorite is moving employs to a position of failure then letting them go when they fail.
My job has layered policies that are literally impossible to perform correctly. It's pretty much a way to ensure that management can write us up at any time if they want to, though they mostly have that in place to trap people and prevent transfers as opposed to firing them (as I recall you can't transfer departments until a year after your last write-up).
I like being on the precipice of quitting my day job to go do my own shit and hustle freelance.
Never mind other anatomical regions!
