The Freelance line, she took out Square-Enix. Her working for them is what got her in trouble in the first place, so maybe if she removes that line from her profile we'll all magically forget she's a shill.

She removed where it said she worked for Square Enix
So wait. What did she remove? I'm not sure I understand
I feel less inclined to defend my profession all the time. I do think there are plenty of good writers and a few good journalists out there doing it, but I don't think the people publishing their work could be less concerned with journalistic integrity. At the higher level publications, they're usually just trolling for clicks more than shilling for PR, writing incendiary opinions devoid of useful information because they know the outrageous article with pages of hate comments will ultimately mean more banner views. At the bottom end, you just have a lot of people not really making money who are only in it to get free games and editors who want positive reviews so they can try to sell a banner to EA or whatever.
In fairness, most media, including hard news, suffers from the former issue as well, and all entertainment criticism suffers from the latter. I wouldn't single out games. Journalism is kind of dead.
did someone delete a post?

Why won't (or if someone has, please point it out to me) some journalist do a piece on Gamestops trashing of video games?
It's bad enough when they trash the packaging, but Gamestop recently tossed all the PS2 games that they had priced $.99 or less. "Big deal, it was probably all sports games or bad games", you might say. But no, there were cool games like Okage, Stuntman, and Ace Combat 4. Do they recycle all that plastic or just throw it into a dumpster?
I feel like there's a real story there, how come I'm not hearing about it.
I liked writing for TNL and enjoyed the freedom. I don't think I've ever written a review where I felt pressured to give it a certain grade based on PR, although I did avoid a couple games because I was pretty sure the outcome would not have been a happy one. I suppose I should feel lucky that I have yet to really deal with that kind of bullshit.
Makes me long for when I have the free time to do such a thing again.
