Putting my old Roku out to pasture, picked up a WDTV Live instead.
I just found an LG blu ray player that also has netflix/amazon/hulu support and has played every digital video format I've thrown at it so far (works via network, usb, or burned disc).
$45 used on Amazon and I retied my Roku XD for it.
After I run it through some more hoops I may get another for the living room to replace my Boxee Box.
