Finally about to see it in 20 minutes. I'm so incredibly stoked.
Saw it today in IMAX 3D and loved it. TFA did pay some homage to A New Hope, while still feeling original. It comes out kicking ass, not taking too long to get to the action. Rey turned out to be a strong female lead character.
Kylo Ren is not too bad as a successor to Darth Vader. His even worse temper leads him into an awesome trashing frenzy, and catching a Blaster bolt out of midair like he does early on is one slick move.
If there was one bitter pill, it's how Han Solo gets coldly offed rather than going down in a blaze of glory. Nevertheless, this makes for a really hard-hitting, tragic scene that pulls no punches and hits your WTF button.
