I liked the opening scene. It's reminiscent of Luke taking off in the speeder to find his aunt and uncle dead. <- Ha Ha, almost 40 year old spoiler that not a single literate person on the planet isn't aware of. and then the destroyed Star Destroyer reveal.
I am optimistic, though I shouldn't be. You can't go home again, after all.
