Hey brah,
I heard you really loved Blighttown and Tomb of the Giants, Brah. Well have I got a level for you.
The Gutter? I made my way only through a bit of it.
If you got to him you've passed the bell. The bell is at the highest point on the map, past the dark path with the three shadow lurkers. Where you dropped down to be able to go find Carhillion there is a building you can go in and climb some stairs to an upper level. All the way at the top of that building is the bell, and ringing it will call in the boat where the boss is.
Probably 999 like the other games. One of the guys who contributed to the Future Press guide is doing a video walkthrough on Youtube and mentioned early on that they expect most people to be around 120 when they beat it the first time.
I started that yesterday The Gutter, I presume?, and I'm liking it more than either of those areas, but only by a little. Having the torch is a godsend for that level, and there are little pedestals to light the way all over the place. And I found this game's Capra Demon boss, too. Just like Capra, the boss is NOT hard at all, in fact has pitiful health and attack power, but the room he's in has between 6-12 other enemies in it the entire fight, and you cannot summon or be summoned in the area. Took me about 15 tries, significantly more than any other boss.
Yep, The Gutter and it's horrible.
I just started playing this last night. I just recently played through part 1 for the first time (beat it last week) and something about this one just feels a bit off. I'm not in love with the visual change though there is some really nice looking stuff. It's the controls though, they just feel janky. I'm going to keep hammering away in hopes of getting as immersed as I did with part 1 which is easily one of the best games in years.
everything feels fine to me, even coming from the PC version of DS. Maybe boost your adaptability if you want to drink flasks & raise your shield faster?
Demon's Souls is still the best of the three.
This game feels like a boss rush session; there's far too many, and they're too frequent. The exploration aspect - the thing the series does best - has been pushed to the background. It's still good, but the shift in focus has reduced the overall experience for me.
My mage needs to shoot more soul arrows. Raising attunement blows.
I just got the pyromancy glove in the warf area, where do I find someone to level it up?
