I've been doing a ton of gaming thanks to my new PS3 as well. It's nice playing catch-up with all these games I've wanted to play for years, especially since most of them are under 20 bucks now.
Valkyria Chronicles - There's something wonderful and horribly depressing about playing Sega games that get everything right the way this one does. On the one hand, it's awesome to experience that old Sega magic, but on the other it's sad to think how rarely that actually happens anymore. Out of all the games I got, this one is eating up most of my free time. Rosie is a badass.
Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection - It's been a while since I've played either of these, and it was on an old 20" CRT TV. I've started playing SoC only when the wife is around. She's so enamored with the aesthetics and the world itself that she feels like she's missed out if I play without her.
LittleBigPlanet 2 - Grabbed this as part of the PS Plus instant game collection. Another one I won't play without the wife and stepkid, since they like to help out (read: play dress up and decorate the pod). It's weird, already we enjoy the PS3 as a family more than we ever did the 360 or Wii.
Final Fantasy IX - Replaying this for the first time in probably ten years now. How FFVII is regarded as the best 32-bit installment when IX exists is beyond me.
