I stopped playing One Piece because I'm only 126* episodes into the anime, and the game caught up to that by the fourth episode.
*not the real number, but I'm quite a ways in and the game did in 4 hours what the anime has taken 1234523415 hours to accomplish.
Yeah, I'm curious about those games, but then I see characters I don't recognize and know I can't abide the spoilers. I stopped at like episode 265 or something.

Completed 15 games in 2012 and off to a slow start this year.
1. Forza Horizon - great game. I enjoyed the open road/world aspect and thought there was a good variety of cars. The balance of arcade/simulation in the handling of the cars worked well. Two minor annoyances:
- last race against Darius (to win his car) felt super cheap and took a long time to beat
- some pop-in of cars (traffic) - definitely annoying at high speed with any of the super cars
Most* people are slowing down this year, it seems. It doesn't help me that I'm playing things like Etrian Odyssey though.
Etrian Odyssey will consume all.
6. Tomb Raider (PC, 100%)

I believe Uncharted 2 has been toppled as this generation's best action game. Crystal Dynamics took some risks in rebooting the series, arguably for a second time, but they really paid off. There is definitely far more combat than in any of the previous games, but I thought it was set up well from a story standpoint. This is also not a short game if you don't skip a quarter of the content. According to Steam, I played 19 hours, which includes way too long looking for one damn mine on Shipwreck Beach. I got all of the single players achievements except two: not enough guys shot off zip lines and not enough dodge combo kills. I had to be close on both, but I wasn't going to reload just to get them. Bring on the missing colony!

This game is short! I didn't get stumped as much as back in the day, but when I did it was definitely a FAQ-required puzzle. The game is pretty cool even though the ending sucks.
Now I need to find Deja Vu and The Uninvited!
Game of Thrones (360). Ugh. The story is very well written but this games is waaaaaaaaaaaay too verbose while being pretty awful on gameplay. 2.5 out of 10.
