Thanks, the logo was something I did over a decade ago when I first had the idea for the company.
The speed is changed according to ricochets. If it hits a truck or a broomsman, it multiplies by 1.1 and maxes out at 2.0. If it got any faster, it was ridiculous. The speed also receives a small bump when a the duck and the truck have a head-collision.
The computer is as follows: if the duck is more than 0.5 distance to the left or right, move that way. That's the extent of the AI. So, no rubberbanding. Just terrible luck.
1.02 will feature a difficulty setting, I'm thinking. I've got a revamped scoring mode finished. It awards points for goals and wins, encouraging better gameplaying. Right now, your leaderboard score is the same with a win or loss. That being said, what would you suggest in terms of difficulty settings? What would make it better?
Being that so many of you have chipped in, I may have to name the hardest difficulty after TNL in some way.
Ok Jimmy, bought your game.
I like this Fowl Ball. It's worth my dollar.
Android here. Sorry!
Nice, I look forward to buying this when I get home and giving it a shot!
Thank you. That's probably the most rad thing anyone has said about it so far. Well, that and, "I like playing it when I take a shit."
Above anyone else, you have no need to apologize. You're the great Dolemite.
The trucks are easy enough to work with. Player movement would be a bit of a bitch due to how it's handled. For instance, right now it's simply tracking according to finger position. In theory, I could implement an invisible joystick but ... it might be a bit off.
"The Next Level" would be a great name. Maybe it'll be implemented as an unlock after winning 5-0.
:icepick:
I've made something like 15 different iOS programs, one of which being an arcade shooter where you swim in the original Mario water level as one of the squids and shoot Marios with ink balls. I just can't do anything with it because of the IP (and I don't have an apple to change the IP)
I also made that appliance texter thing that the only thing anyone remembers about is me sleeping late.
