One of the very few games I consider perfect. The recent(ish) remake version that's on GOG is probably the best way to go about it.

Yes, definitely.

If you have an iPad, there's an excellent port/remake available on iOS (listed under the Euro-release title, "Another World").

Yep, it's on Android, too. The touch controls take some getting used to, but it's still great.

I'll be damned. I have no recollection of that whatsoever. My apologies.

It looks like they're not following the original gameplay/level design that closely. That could be interesting, I kind of like the idea of a loose remake following the original plot, but there's also a lot that could go wrong there too. The original team's involvement makes me feel better, but they're hot off the heels of a game that is considered abjectly terrible, so that makes me feel worse.
