Yeah, most systems are pretty shitty at launch. Most of us here were "LOL PS3" until the system hit the $300ish mark, where a reasonable price and good exclusives made it a good system.

The only issue I see with the Ouya is controller lag. If they can fix that then it'll do exactly what I want, which is to be a great little emulator machine that also plays any media file I put on it.

I want to know what difficulty there is side-loading apps. They just say it's "difficult" but now why or how it's done. If it's just "you have to put the shit on an SD card and select it in the file manager" then fuck you, that shit's easy.
He stated why in the review. The hardest part seemed like it was getting an APK on the machine, which shouldn't be that hard once it rolls out and different sites have APKs on them all ready for someone to download.

There. How fucking hard was that?
"In the future, when APKs are on the internet..." Get the fuck out of here.
He had to upload an apk himself, and then use the Ouya to download it. Then he could install it from a somewhat hidden menu.
It's all there in the review. Did you read it?
"Here's how I sideloaded apps, a process I only figured out by accident after three days of fruitless Googling and searching through every inch of the Ouya's software: first, download an APK of a file manager. (At this point I've already confused my parents, most of my friends, and frankly myself.) Upload that APK to a website, ideally one with an easy-to-type URL. Go to the Ouya's browser, go to that URL, and download the file. Go back to home, then hit Manage, Advanced Settings, scroll down the Android menu to Storage, then click Downloads, then scroll to the APK you just downloaded. Click on it and install it. Once you have a file manager, it's just a matter of finding APKs for all the apps you want (often illegal, and usually pretty difficult), adding them to a USB stick or hard drive, plugging it into the Ouya, then going to Make, then Software, opening up your file manager of choice, then navigating through a million menus to get to your APKs."
So he's too stupid to Google. Gotcha.
The PS3 was $600 when Motorstorm came out.
I still kinda lol at it because the controller sucks. Now I just lol at all the systems. Seriously, if you make me buy these MP shits on these old ass systems, bleh
yeah, I don't get why he had to download an apk, upload it again, then download with the Ouya. There seems to be an extra step or two there.
