They certainly highlighted that the demo doesn't support it. A clarification that the full game does would've been nice.

The game's been out for over a year in Japan and it certainly supports it there.
I doubt they would remove it? That's grounds for a boycott.
Tried the 3ds demo. very Nice looking. I put it next to portable 3rd, and it ruins smoother, looks cleaner. Better shadows, better effects. I'm happy. Its wierd not having to use the claw(method of using your thumb for the stick, while at the same time useindg your index and middle finger for camera) for camera controls. The monster target comes in really handy, so does the camera turn during dodges. Urukususu looks way better on 3ds, and had new moves, so does plesioth. Can't wait to farm deviljho on this.still getting used to underwater battles. P3rd didn't have those that's really where the camera controls become a problem. Overall I'm happy though.
I can figure out everything in your paragraph except this.Quote:
Its writers not having to use the claw for camera controls.
sorry, was typing from phone lol. ill edit.
the worst thing to do in MonHun is to go in swinging. its honeslty good to go into a hunt with a new monster, just to see what all of thier attacks and tells are. thats pretty much the key. knowing what a monster will do by how theylook will have you avoiding everything from devil jho's dragon breath, to Jinouga's screw upper attack. also, flash bombs for gettign that potion or whetstone in.
I tried the novice hunt with the sword and shield guy. Came close, but didn't quite bring down the prey.
The best I can say is that I didn't completely hate it. In fact, I found it kind of appealing minus the gimpy controls. I played Kid Icarus style, with the stylus manipulating the camera. It would have been easier if I knew what all the buttons did.
I'll try it again!

Its Monster Hunter 4. but i don't see why i cant post it here.
And god damn teh Charge Axe. cant wait.
i been playing a while, but i was able to kill lagombi in under 3 min with the sword and shield.
some little tips, you use items with the sword and shield unsheathed by holding R and the Y button to use. the only item that will put your weapon away is the trap, and the whetstone. also, sonic bomb will stun him for a bit. and dodge, dodge, dodge. you'll fall in love with the series the more you get into it. i sure as hell did.
