There may be plenty of sketchy activity related to trafficking and concealment, but the relationship between the drug and the user is not inherently dishonest. You don't have to believe things that are untrue in order to enjoy them.

That's how I feel - with the right mindset a kid could learn a lot from sports (or anything that requires diligence & discipline), but it's usually the parents that elevate to some life-or-death extreme and fuck up kids even further.

It's usually they are living out their dreams through the child (bad), or seeing money signs(even worse).

Movies were warping kids minds, violent comic books were warping kids minds, rock music was warping kids minds. Now violent video games are warping kids minds.

I didn't even mention competitive sports. Could just be a bunch of kids playing ball on the street. Just get the kid out to socialize with other kids.

I know. It is a prime example where parental influence can vear off negatively, often without mom/dad bothering to realize it.

Competition is healthy. Without it all we have are people who believe they are entitled to a good life.
