Shows what you know. I'm compiling a database of all these lists as we speak.
Thank god only a few people are actually making their posts interesting by writing a lil bit about each game and their experiences with it.

JRPG: Phantasy Star - SMS: The best game I have played to that point in my life. My mind was blown. My favorite 8-bit game.
Racing game: Spy Hunter or Pole Position - Arcade: I really don't know
Computer game: Karateka - Apple system: Pronounced "Care-a Tee-ka" because we were kids. Fuck that hawk.
Console game: Uhhh Maze Craze, Pacman, or Phoenix - Atari 2600: When I was four or five we had a black and white tv and a 2600. I remember playing a few games. Maybe Maze Craze was a pack-in?
FPS: Wolfenstein 3D - PC: Yeah that shareware game with only a few levels. I didn't have a PC at the time so I only got to play it a bit at a friends. Seemed impressive at the time.
Point n' click Adventure game: Tass Times in Tonetown - C128: I remember my brother and I picked this up because the graphics on the back were from the Amiga version and we thought it looked awesome. It didn't look as good and we had no idea what was going on. If this wasn't considered a point and clicker.. then I probably played Maniac Mansion either before or soon after. I think we called it Manic Mansion.
Online multiplayer game: We played some stuff on BBS like Pimp Wars and Barren Realms Elite.
First online FPS: Unreal Tournament 99 - PC: This is the best game ever. One of those times where you knew you were looking into the future.
First MMORPG: Everquest - PC: I finally got a PC and picked up EQ after reading about it and dreaming of how cool it would be. It was pretty impressive, and I have a lot of memories of all the stupid stuff we did, but I didn't end up playing it much. Thank god.
