The general version of the trailer shows a Steam logo but not a Wii U or Vita one, interestingly enough.
edit: Assuming it's not included in this release, I'm hoping Sega also releases the original version on Virtual Console and the PC Genesis & Mega Drive Classics.
PLEASE BE GOOD!!!! PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE!!!!!! Power of Illusion made me cry. I want a good Mickey game dammit..remake or not. Just give me a good one!
In case anyone cared it's being made by Sega Australia, supposedly this is the last thing they're doing before Sega closes their doors.
*edit* I also hope the team responsible for the animation in the CG trailer is not the one responsible for the animation in the game.
I'm not really like the art style at all. If this were a 3D adventure, fine, but for a remake of a 2D game...
And the thing is, the original design was meant to capture the feel and look of the old Mickey cartoons. Those images look like stills from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
I was going to reserve judgment until I saw it in motion, but since you mentioned it, based on stills the Duck Tales team has done a lot better job than this team. Character sprites > no sprites
