I wound up preordering the PS3 version late yesterday. The bonus original version has nice options, including window size, aspect ratio, scan lines, etc. My daughter played a bunch of that last night. I downloaded the new version this morning but haven't fired it up yet.
The reviews are all over the place, just like Ducktales Remastered. I saw a 4/10, a 4/5 a 9/10 and a 5/10. I'm assuming it's people who "get it" and fucking retards.
It could also be Disney fags and objective reviewers.
It could go either way.
I love it so far - I could do without the hub world, but it's a minor issue. Unlike DuckTales, the storyline increases don't take up a ton of time and don't get in the way of actually playing the game.
Who cares? I'm not expecting a life changing experience out of this. I'm expecting Mickey Mouse to gather ITEMS and use his ass to make creatures with four frames of animation burst into stars.
I don't think I'll be disappointed with my purchase.
Nostalgia will also help. I played the shit out of the Game Gear version when I was a kid. Where's my remake of Donald's Lucky Dime Caper?
Hey, guess what! This is fun to play. You guys should give it a chance!
I'll wait to hear impressions of the pc version. Y'know, 60fps and all that performance stuff. I hear nice things about this remake which makes me happy.
