Yeah, its been hit and miss with rank. I hit 20 three different times.
Correct me if I am wrong, but crashing to the UI does not cause you to lose anything from the online. I ranked up to 45 and got a few unlocks in a match last night, but crashed just before the end, and I still was rank 45 and had all my unlocks. The only time you should ever lose what you have earned during a match is if the server it self crashes. Otherwise it is just as if you quit the match. But, I might be wrong.
Dunno what to tell you Cap. PROMOTED! Followed by Your team won/lost! Followed by Blue Screen of Annoyance, followed by restarting and playing for a few minutes followed by PROMOTED! rinse and repeat.
