BF4 seems to have the opposite problem:
The default maps are great, but the DLC sucks so far.
I really like Guilin Peaks and Dragon Pass. Altai Range a bit less. Silk Road is garbage, imo.
Silk Road is shit but the others are cool. Not enough people playing them on PC though. Right now there are a whopping 2 U.S. servers that have China Rising maps currently.
Finally got a chance to have a full uninterupted night of BF4 last night. And then miraculously it happened again tonight. Aside from some horrendous lag both night during peak time it was pretty stable, didn't get kicked out of a match once. Also got to try the new maps. I enjoyed them. Silk Road was a bit weird, felt like I was in the movie Dune for some reason. Whatever. If this keeps up I might be glad I didn't trade it in.
I guess nobody can truly have a problem-free Battlefield 4 experience. Today I went to play BF4 and it prompted me for an update. Once that was done installing... I couldn't log into the game. At all. It crashed on startup. Constantly. I uninstalled and am currently reinstalling. Hopefully that fixes the issue, but it's a pain in the ass.
Ya that happened to me too on the ps4. 900 meg update followed by oh you want to proceed further than the black loading screen? I'm done with battlefield for now.
The PC version required a 1.2 gig update; It's not like my 256 GB SSD isn't near full. :eep:
I played a couple of rounds last night and noticed weird sound effect problems, like gunfire from locations where nobody was at.
That was me!
