This is what BF3 should have been. Wonder how the community will embrace the bombing mode? That being said, Parcel Storm looks fucking incredible. Wake Island on steroids!

Commander mode is sounding pretty sweet. You get a good and dedicated commander and it can change the tides. They mention holding point or destroying objectives to get certain assets, which I assume is like the dropship or gunship in BF3, which isn't bad, but I was hoping for them to bring back the ability to actually destroy the other commanders ability like in BF2. Still sounds pretty awesome though.
I like it. They have all main modes from military FPs covered. Domination will be fun for my guys since we're ground-pounders. My new card is arriving tomorrow and I'll be good to go!
Highly anticipating this. Loved BC2, skipped 3. Biggest problem I faced in BC2 was being able to completely fit my gun to suit me. I wanted to love the all kit DMR but the iron sights sucked. Slug shotgun was a good alternative, but you had to blow a customization to get it to fire the slugs in the first place.
But thanks to BF4's open ended weapon customization I should be able to get something that feels just right. Shame about DMRs being 4 hit kills at range, though. What's the point of a DMR if it it's roughly as effective at range as a heavy carbine like the Scar but vastly inferior up close? Guess I'll be going slugs again.
Imagine that, Dice released a beta-ass beta. Performance issues aside, not really digging the map at all. Snipers are waaaaay too overpowered. Tanks still take too much damage. You'd think after making 10 or so of these games, they'd get weapon balance and vehicle balance down. Nope.
The 360 version is missing about all the textures but plays at a steady fps. The PC version is all over the place performance-wise. It looks the part, but has stuttering for mostly everyone. Business as usual. This game will be released in an unfinished state and take months to get up to speed in both performance and balance issues.
Beta was great for the 15 minutes I spent with it at mixed Ultra/High at 2560x1440.
Don't waste your time downloading the 360 beta. The textures are N64 quality and 12 vs. 12 is a joke on a map of that size.
I played one round and deleted it.
