I keep passing that up whenever I go out. You would swim around and shoot bubbles, right?
It had kind of a Bubble Bobble thing going on with the capture & throw mechanic.
All throwing the shells from the Jaws NES at things.
The music from that game gets stuck in my head ALL THE TIME. It's pretty great.
Playing through again for fun because it's so good.
I hope this sells well enough for them to consider updating other Capcom/Disney games.
Had some time today and finally played a run through of this. Overall I liked it, but the end section just annoyed the fuck out of me. I didn't like the changes, and the slight unresponsiveness in the controls at times, made it more annoying than fun. As a whole package I enjoyed it, loved the music and everything else they did with it. I'll probably play through it again some time this week, and see if my opinion changes on a second time through.
I keep hearing people complain about the end. I had more trouble beating Dracula and then ran through the end no problem.
To climb a set of chains, hold up and forward on the dpad and just press jump when you get to the top of a chain. It's the fastest way across. You can pogo to like the third chain after climbing the first set, and then pogo to the platform above and to the right and barely grab a high chain to completely skip the last part and trivialize the escape.
My control issues were the down before the button thing for the pogo, and that was patched day 2 on the PC to be whatever first. It's been absolutely flawless since. I assume the same patch is coming to the consoles. Someday.
I also found little issues with the hit boxes of the ledges. Where the sprite obviously isn't hitting the image of the ledges but it wouldn't let me jump up and is acting like I'm hitting the ledge, I then need to move over like 1 or 2 pixels and then it works. I ran into this a bunch through out the other levels, but it wasn't annoying there, when things are suddenly OMG get to it before them, or out run this lava it becomes super annoying. I hope that when/if a console patch comes it addresses some of these issues as well. Cause like I said overall I really like the whole package, just some control, and hit box issues make the end game way more annoying than fun.
I shelled out an extra five bucks for the "Physical Edition". Here's what it looks like if anyone is curious:

Downloading the game now. Super hype, too, 'cause this was one of my favorite childhood videogames.
