Minter posted the letter that really kicked things off from June 2014, although it doesn't look like the start of the problem. Plenty of bullshit in there, such as "Further, your client's development work on TEMPEST 2000 was merely an updating of the original TEMPEST game to which your clients made no contribution." and "...by claiming (wrongly) to be the creator of the Tempest Games."

"Atari" is actually Infogrames, and they have pretty much nothing of value anymore. There's the awful cellphone Rollercoaster Tycoon 4, the not-much-better-looking PC version (which could be the subject of a very interesting story in itself for any reporters who want to do some digging), the Infinity Engine games and their enhanced editions, this joke, and this joke. Unless you somehow don't own the Infinity Engine games yet, it's harder to not boycott them than it is to boycott them.

Why the hell doesn't Fauxtari just buy it from him and name it Tempest 4000, instead of being assholes? Because of their BS we are being denied the PC & PS4 ports. I may have to get a PSTV for this.
