Looks like Asa Butterfield is the new Spider-Man.
I approve. He was good in Ender's Game.

Babby Spidermans.
Great news! This guy looks like he is 12 years old so we're bound to get Spider-Man's origin story..........again.
Thank god.
That article is from a month ago.
His new origin is that he's been De-Aged by Nanny and has to go on adventures with Gambit and Storm.
It's interesting how he resembles Tobey McGuire a little.
He certainly is a white kid.
Looks more like Frodo Baggins to me.
Some kid named Tom Holland has been officially cast as Spider-Man. Yet another Brit. :)

Apparently he already has the moves: http://www.comingsoon.net/extras/new...ider-man-moves
So Peter Parker then? He doesn't look like a Miles Morales to me.
They already confirmed that Spidey would be Peter.
Ahh. I was hearing Miles. Good then.
Little burnt umber, good to go.
Cap 3 trailer tease. Fake or real? It shows nothing. I think it's suspect, but I did get the video off of Stan Lee's Facebook page.

Marvel isn't presenting anything at Comic Con. The big hitters are DC and Star Wars this year.
Is this the one with the voiceover claiming "superheroes across the country" when there's really just 12 in New York City or so at this point?
By the time Civil War comes out there will be one in SF too. So, kinda correct.

I didn't think they would put him in a trailer, keep him for the movie. He looks really cartoony.
His eyes are animated. Weird. Movie looks cool though. Cap 2 was great so I'm expecting a lot.
I like the squint a lot.
I was already sold.
I don't like how he looks like he's made out of stretch armstrong rubber.
I don't mind, he's been made of either football material or athletic shoes for the last few movies.
To me those looked like he was wearing those materials, not made of it. This trailer spidey looks like he came out of a mold from the Chinese toy factory.
I'm not going to miss the raised Tobey webs, that suit was ugly as fuck. So was the jaundiced Amazing suit. Amazing 2 though... that was pretty spot-on. Shame about the movie.
High res, looks like there's some texture in there:

Cool to see how the eyes are lensed! I think this also means they can go bigger for 'surprised Spidey'.
Looks more like cosplay to me than the last two sets of Spider-Man movies, but maybe it'll be better on the big screen. I also prefer the big white eyes look.
Besides that, this movie is going to rule. I liked Cap 2 a lot too and this looks like it's going to raise the bar.
oh hell yeah, them all fighting each other should be great. Cap vs Thor vs Ironman was the best part of the Avengers flicks.
This is gonna make Cap 2 look like Cap 1.
I'd have to be blown the fuck away for that to happen.
I'd bet that Spidey gets cleaned up a lot come release.
I don't know, I'm not feeling this one the way I did Iron Man, the first Avengers, or Guardians.
I like how Spidey is an Alex Ross/Spiderman and Friends come to life.
- Spiderman has a lot of screentime, so does Black Panther.
- The length of the film is the longest of all Marvel movies 2hrs and 30 minutes.
- The ending of the film is supposed to be a shocker.
- I have heard from various sources that the feeling and flow of the film is that of a Horror movie(tension).
- This trailer's codename was "Payoff".
- The inclusion of Spiderman was a last minute thing. The decision to include him was made last week and needed the Approval of Feige and Marvel. THEY wanted to not show him at all, but after DC's recent trailers, they felt they should jnust show him.
- Early screeners are saying Cap: CW is an Oscar Nominee ... I haven't seen it and I think that's going overboard and hyping it WAYYY much.
Oh and Sylvester Stallone has been cast in Guardians of the Galaxy 2. He's going to be a Ravanger and has already filmed a few scenes.
Kurt Russell is in too; role unknown.
Kurt is rumoured to be Star Lord's dad.
High-res pic of Spidey:
Scooped ya back at post #232.
Ok.
Back when it came out. Same picture, even.
Ok.
It's right there.
Ok.
right there
Now kiss.

Airplane Bathroom Colon Blowout Spider-Man was not a popular action figure, somehow.
omg awesome pic, Drew. Way better than Yeller's.
!!!
Cast that shade.
It's like a black drag queen dressing room in here.
Getting a bit of an Inception vibe..

Oh, how clever. (If you don't get it, think about it for a minute - what could this be referring to besides a high school sporting event?) And the bent logo, straight off a comic cover, beautiful.
Also: Portman out, Tessa Thompson in for Thor 3. You'd think they'd recast rather than writing the character out, what with how central she is to Thor's story so far.
That is a bummer. She was a rather huge part of those. Interest downgrade.
She was the blandest part of those movies. Good riddance.
Thor should have been banging Sif to begin with.
Well if she didn't want to do it there's nothing they can do. I'm curious about this Thor movie because apparently Hulk is in it.
I watched Cap 2 and Avengers 2 again to refresh before Civil War. Cap 2 is great. Avengers 2 is fun. Not the garbage I keep thinking it was for some reason.
It's not horrible it just kind of meandered a bit with the Vision stuff.
It's a middle of the road Marvel flick. I think the bloom is off the rose for Joss Whedon, his supposed magic touch ain't there.
The first one really is great! The second is kind of a by-the-numbers movie. Not awful, not particularly memorable. If you've gotta see three Marvel movies, it ain't one of 'em.
I'm seeing a screening of Civil War this Monday. :tu:
FUCK YOU
Being salty is my mutant power.
New Spidey clip. Not sure why the video quality is such shit, but whatever.
I know that no one else is still watching but last night Coulson got a new toy for his cybernetic hand. Because "I thought it would be cool if the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. had a shield".
They haven't shut that bullshit down yet?
I think they're going to keep it going and have "Coulson's still alive" reveal at the end of the movie before Inhumans.
The Inhumans angle is super lame.
Speaking of: CANCELLED!
http://bsccomment.com/2016/04/27/mar...efinitely.html
No biggie.
Mourned by none.
Now if Marvel can just stop trying to replace Mutants with Inhumans in the comics we'll be set. Nobody cares about the Inhumans. If it was going to happen it would have happened by now.
IMO: they've already made a deal with Fox to get the F4 rights back (Fox has to have given them SOMETHING to get that Xmen TV show), they can't announce it until a certain date as a face-saving measure for Fox, the previous plans for the Inhumans are being rolled into F4.
God it would be amazing if they got FF back, just for the villians.
Just Doom. I don't even need the FF.
Super Skrull and Galactus/Silver Surfer would be nice as well.
True.
I'll never understand the appeal of a shiny dude on a surf board.
I guess he's better than frickin' Air Walker.
But Firelord was the best herald.
The appeal of SS is mostly the 'was once a man' monologues.
