but he is acknowledging it. Have you paid attention? He's said that maybe what the ancients said were God, might have been aliens, or something lesser than what they thought it was and wrote about. Both of those alternatives are more believable.

If you can sign off on that, maybe we can get somewhere.

So the question now is whether Ancient Aliens is more believable on the Believ-o-meter than Christianity.

I believe Yoshi buys and plays games. That belief is gnostic because between his posts here and his steam account I think I have proof of that claim.

I don't believe that Yoshi is a seven foot tall black guy who was born and raised in China, but that would be an agnostic belief because I really have no proof he isn't.

And yet you cannot prove with certainty that he, or even the room your sitting in, exists. You can merely determine that it is very likely.

My belief that there is nothing resembling most existing concepts of God is not faith-based, it's reason-based and probabilistic. A belief to the contrary is not. They are not the same.
