At this time of night? Don't forget to pick up a bootleg copy of Ikaruga.
So I had posted this a while back, and recently renewed it.

I get an email at 2am last night, saying he has a bunch of games he'd like to get rid of. I bite and say we can meet up after work.
He told me he'd put them all in a bag, and call it $20. I drive about an hour out into the boonies.

Seriously, it was desolate.
We do the deal, and I drive back home. I'm not too bothered to look and see what I have, because I saw two particular games near the top and wanted to get out before he decided against the deal.
Here is said bag.

Lets lay them all out.

Ducktales 2 and Ninja Gaiden III were the two I saw. I'll take a few of the other games out of that lot (Super C, Narc, Top Gun 2, DK Jr, Excite Bike, Marble Madness, Lode Runner, Monopoly, and Pinball, but the rest are duplicates of what I have. Proud owner of 6 Tetris cartridges.
That being said, if anybody needs any of those, let me know.
Found this doing a little shopping on my lunch hour today. I need one for conventions as I usually blow through my battery life pretty quickly.
Deus Ex
XCOM
Ratchet and Clank 4
All for PS3 via Playstation+.
Hey, chox, I am in dire need of an SMB3 if you're looking to thin out your pile at all.
Consider one yours.
Shit. Go Duck Tales 2.
I figure I have 2 complete sets of SMB/2/3 I'll sell those. A set of Zelda and Link, sell the 2 Mega Man 2's seperate, and Contra alone too. I'll make my money back quick.
Yes!
Do you have one of the 4 player adaptors? That Ironman racing game is pretty sweet.
I do not, and yes it is!
I'll take the SMB/DH carts off your hands.
I'd be interested in a MM2, depending on price.
So, the good games were claimed via pm at 3am. :( Sorry guys. If I find more when I go back to that dude's house I'll snag them.
In other words, SSJN is buying them all to re-sell.
Exactly.
Lol.
RONG!
First, I never contacted him
Second, I always give you cunts first pick
Third, chax is smart enough to sell direct
I'm confused then. Who else would be buying duplicates? No, I don't know why I care.
What's that word you shout when downing a tree?
Just a guess.
But again, i dont see chox giving them away.
AMAZING RE-HAUL!
So I thought my first 3dsxl was lost/ stolen quite a while ago and have since replaced it (and the Etrian IV cart that was in it). My chick was digging through the closet to find a book we bought a long time ago for my dad's birthday. Low and behold, the 3DSXL was in the bag with the book.
Got all my dumb ambassador roms back ( who cares), but more importantly, got all my other d/l games (gg shinobi and x-zone and a bunch of others) as well as my favoritest swapnotes.
It's a good day!
Can't wait to finish Class of Heroes 2 so that I can go back to Etrian (though I rebought it, I couldnt bear the thought of starting all over).
The poster who asked is not buying the cruddy 5 copies of Tetris, they just wanted the 2 Mega Man 2's, Contra, etc. The higher dollar items.
It's not Timber, or SSJN. If they want to out themselves, I'll let them.
If someone else wants a game to play nobody should be getting doubles of no Mega Man 2. Just sayin'.
Oh Jesus, here come the fuckin libs...
Or you could play it via emulator, or PSN, or Virtual Console, or compilation disc.

$48 from my penultimate NewEgg preorder. They need to offer the $10 off $40+ and $12 off $50+ again soon so I can preorder all of next year's games like I did this year's.
edit: Also...
http://www.the-nextlevel.com/tnl/att...1&d=1371143192
from woot, who better not send me any more pills instead of what I order.
Nice. I'm expecting this shirt from Teefury any day now:

Awesome.
Spent $6 on the new Indie Gala. Already had Vessel, so here's that - 20J0Z-KENJP-X6ZTB
Edit - Just bought a Galaxy Tab 2 7 inch tablet since it's $170 and a lot more versatile than my gen 1 Kindle Fire, which is shockingly still going for $100+ on ebay.
It's turned into a hefty digital Nintendo haul week! Bought Animal Crossing earlier and added the following:
Picross e (3DS) $6
Yoshi (NES/ Wii U Virtual Console) $0.30
Mutant Mudds Deluxe (Wii U) $10
AW YEAH PICROSS
Mutant Mudds Deluxe is listed as only 53mb, and currently takes up 31mb. Fantastic efficiency, like Nano Assault Neo (great game imo).
Hauled in a new house. Took some quick pictures. Been moved in since Saturday so the place is still kind of a mess. 3 bedroom, 3 full baths, 2.5 car garage, and a finished basement for video games :) Aww user error, pics are upside down.
Attachment 70491Attachment 70492Attachment 70493Attachment 70494
The inspector didn't catch that it's upside down?
Congrats!
edit: Damn it. You noticed too.
Seriously? That's wild as hell.
Also in my haul this month is a new water heater! Not even here a week and something craps out. The water heater was still under warranty so I got it replaced for free at least.
If you click 'em they'll turn around the right way (at least in Chrome).
Looks nice, SamuraiMoogle. Is that a lake right there? What state is it in? I've thought about buying a house, but I can't really afford anything that isn't ultra-ghetto unless I move out of SoCal (which I don't want to do... unless it's to Hawaii, but then I have the same problem).
Got my bonus from work. Decided to treat myself to the 3DS eShop!
Got Columns (GG-VC) and HarmoKnight!
Got some NES boxes from Shin Johnpv, he threw in a couple extra as well!
Final Fantasy XIV beta code
Since SE isn't retarded, it works on both the PS3 and PC.
The Last of Us and Ad in a Box.
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S4 using Tapatalk
10 out of 10: featuring Batman is analogously $10 at BB right now, ps3 and xbox.
$10 out of $10
Got a cheapie composite/s-video to HDMI converter from Amazon, hoping that it would work better than my TV's horrible composite scaler but not expecting much for the price. Surprisingly, it works really well with the Famicom and 3DO. For the price I am very pleased.
Bought The Last of Us for $45 on Newegg's Ebay store.
Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Took advantage of the $29 price at Kmart
Samsung galaxy iv. Seems alright.
I take it back about Hotline Miami, the game is super-fun and the ugly graphics kind of match the ugliness of the content.
Found a bunch of old sketchbooks, so OLD SKETCHBOOK HAUL +3.
Got Animal Crossing 3ds for Fathers day. I've neve played AC before!
You were better off neve playing a AC game before.
Preordered a One and Ps4! I'm going to use the money I made off the anniversary Xbox to get the One and my wife is going to get me the ps4 for Xmas. I probably would have bought both eventually anyways, so this works fine for me!
You did it at GameStop too, didn't you?
If you're going to throw away your privacy and resale rights, you might as well give out a $100 interest free loan for the privilege!
edit: I forgot the ~$45 interest free loan you'll be giving WI in sales tax too that wouldn't have been due until April 15 if purchased online.
edit2: Please tell me you didn't trade in games for the $100.
Wait... Why wouldn't you preorder from Amazon for free and get it day of release.
He doesn't trust the internet, which is why he wants a console that is going to capture his face, his heart rate, his expression, his conversations, etc. while connected to it.
Great Fathers Day. Took the family on a day trip and still snuck some game hunting in....
Cave Story 3D 3DS brand new (probably should have nabbed the other two copies with the price it's going for)
Starship Hector NES complete $5
Final Fight 2 and Rival Turf SNES $3 apiece ( had to buy two )
5 complete PS2 games for $5 ( had to buy 5 )
18 Wheel Trucker
Herdy Gerdy
Bombastic
Dynasty Warriors 2
Twisted Metal Extra Twisted Edition
Dishonored DLC 50% off on Steam:
Dunwall City Trials - $2.49
The Knife of Dunwall - $4.99
I found these completely by accident. I guess Steam doesn't do the email and smartphone app push letting you know a wishlist item is on sale if it's DLC.
Lol, they are watching me!! Oh no!!
I never had a problem with the Internet, I just prefer a brick and mortar store for higher dollar purchases. I would rather pick up my item than have ups or fed ex destroy it or leave it on my doorstep in the rain. I bought a PC a few months ago and UPS left it in my old apartment lobby. Wtf!?
I got Sony Smash Brothers from the PSN sale. It isn't very good!
The Last of Us, New Super Mario Bros Wii, and the 2 Wii Mario games that came w my WiI U. Maybe order Zombi u some day after I"m done w some things.
Still have to beat Remember Me, and I really like it - aside from the camera, which can be obtuse at times. It wants you to search out things, but the camera doesn't really want you to.
Also, I somehow ended up w a copy of Animal Crossing DS and dicking around w that. I have Oranges and Pears.
Def Jam Vendetta, Super Monkey Ball, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, Animal Crossing and Mario Kart Double Dash from a guy off Craigslist for $10 total delivered to my door.
Picross E from 3DS eshop, very much worth the $6.
Worms Revolution (XBLA) because it was on sale for 600 points. It's 3D classic style Worms, so it's pretty good, with some new features that are hit and miss. I like it so far, would enjoy playing some games with TNLers.
Def Jam is the shit.
Confirmed.
Won a nice little prize pack the other day, and got the two Bioshock Infinite shirts for Father's Day.
My daughter's backpack for kindergarten:
http://www.the-nextlevel.com/tnl/att...1&d=1371575098
And Dungeons & Dragons: CoM on Steam!
Love that backpack.
Got the new Humble Android Bundle, but I don't need some of the Steam keys.
Here's Aquaria -
B4IYL-9MJEP-B9NDB
Fractal - ME40D-4PLHH-PHG08
Frozen Synapse - HMB20PQ1XCIXZ5E9MSX1
Broken Sword - 203G6-74IRN-PVKPA
Some douche used the Frozen Synapse one and didn't post. Fuck you, lurker.
Took advantage of the weekend Witcher franchise sale on Steam and got Assassins of Kings Enhanced for like $7, along with the eXceed Collection and Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. I played the latter several years ago and loved it (despite the numerous bugs), but never got around to finishing it. Grabbed the latest version of Wesp's patch and am pretty stoked to give it another go.
Bwahahahaha.
I thanked Jeremy with some rep and was about to say something, but you were alarmingly fast for a dinosaur.
Also grabbed the humble android bundle. Here's the steam keys I didn't need for whoever grabs them first...
Aquaria - ZK5L5-2NDZI-8M9XI
Broken Sword: Director's Cut - NNJ7E-6JPJ0-JTGRH
HEY YOSHI
Check your PMs Yoshi.
<3 <3 <3
Sold my 360 on Craigslist and used a bit of the money to pick up Heart of the Swarm earlier this evening. I've been sitting on a copy of StarCraft II for a while now but didn't play it out of fear of my old PC bursting into flame. Now that I don't have to worry about that (and have hardware that does the game justice), I'm finally getting my RTS on.
Is it safe to assume everyone is buying D&D on Steam, or are people using their excessive piles of Microsoft points to get it on XBLA?
I'm going Steam.
I'll buy it on steam after a sale, I have Scrooge McDuck money on XBLA so I'm buying it on there now.
Edit: There is now a 4 Pack for $11.25 that's tempting.
It's 12 on GMG right now. That's only .75 more.
Ragnarok Tactics PSP for about $20 on Amazon.
We never got it in, I've heard it's pretty solid. As long as they keep shitting RPGs out for the PSP, I"ll keep buying them.
From the Too Many Games convention in Oaks, PA:
Legendary Axe TG-16
Space Harrier TG-16
Final Lap Twin TG-16
Ranger X Genesis
Rhythm Tengoku GBA
Pipe Dream GB
Top Rank Tennis GB
Faceball 2000 GB
Fantasy Zone Famicom
Shatterhand NES
conditioner and socks
Lily should dig this.
Attachment 70547
Aahhhh, I wish I could've gone to that =[
How were prices in general? Fair?
The Last of Us
Prices weren't bad, though some had better prices than others. HG101 booth, where I got Rhythm Tengoku and Ranger X, had some really good prices. Rhythm Tengoku GBA was 40 dollars complete. The loose Ranger X was marked at 12, but marked down to 10. Loose Shatterhand, which was from a booth with some cheap FC games (but not where I got Fantasy Zone) was 13 dollars. Two of the GB games were three dollars and Top Rank Tennis was two. The TG-16 games were from the Collector's Cards and Games booth. The ones I got were 10 dollars and two had the box and manual, though Legendary Axe's manual was beaten up. Fantasy Zone Famicom was for 10 dollars from a seller with a bunch of FC and SFC imports at reasonable prices.
I enjoyed Too Many Games, though some things could have been organized a bit better. Most of the classic games in the play area were still on HDTVs and some in stretched screen mode to boot. Should have been a better selection of games there too (most systems had only one game and Dreamcast's game choice was a THPS2 disc that kept locking up). There was an area with arcade games together in one area, some were set free play and others weren't. The place was still getting together when I got there and opened up 30 minutes late, though they at least separated the line this time (which wasn't the case last year). One vendor there had a bunch of NES games, including the Tengen Tetris and Bubble Bobble Part 2 set up on one of those multi game setups that used to be in toy stores on an SDTV. That's more along the lines of what I would like to see.
I went to two of the panels, both of which were fun. One was talking about how to make video game music and the other was a quiz on Mega Man. The quiz was especially cool with questions covering all of the classic series. I also liked how one of the contestants was dressed as Sheep Man.
Was Timber there?
Scored a top loader from a co-worker for $20.
Time to be late to the party like always.
Timber, the arcade game? If so no. I'm not sure if there was a person named Timber there.
Edit: I searched and found Timber the Video Game Guy. I don't think he was there. The Angry Video Game Nerd, Keith Apicary, and brentalfloss where there, though.
