Horror games are maybe the only genre randomly generated makes complete sense.
It can be fun to replay a level of Mario Galaxy and get better at it through familiarity and practice. It just stops being scary when you know a dog jumps through the same window in RE each time you replay it.

Bonus way late reply:
Yep. I'd buy that.
It's interesting to see how many indy games are being ported to PS4 and not Xbox One.
Not sure if that's just due to Microsoft's ID@Xbox program being started later than Sony's or if indy dev's are just saying "fuck Microsoft" and are mainly flocking to Sony. As for this game, there's have been quite a bit of independent first person horror games so as with any other game this will have to really stand out from the pack but being on PS4 should definitely boost it's profile.
It's the self-publishing and lack thereof on the XBO. MS practically goes for Nintendo levels of control over stuff on their systems which, like Nintendo, is biting them in the ass.
33% off preorder on Steam
I'm concerned that there isn't a single review of this on Metacritic, despite releasing tomorrow. Hopefully some reliable ones will appear between now at 1pm tomorrow when the preorder price expires.
It's only $10 on steam, I figured what the hell.
I got my wish.
Eurogamer: 7/10
Given the low cost of entry you mentioned, it sounds worthy.
That's the highest review it got. Lowest is 3/10 I believe.
Is this the first UE4 game to come out? That's kind of sad.
I was going to say Eurobump, but Zombie Studios is in downtown Seattle, I pass by it a lot
