In the way that the Playstation All-Star Battle Royale roster felt incomplete for omitting Crash Bandicoot (and having no Ridge Racer presence whatsoever) do you guys think there are any Nintendo games or characters that are sorely missing from Smash Bros?
Sorely missing? Probably not.
Some Advance Wars assists would be neat.
They've covered all the bases from day one. They maybe go a bit overboard on mans from one series or another sometimes, but there's really no terrible omissions.
I'm actually really curious as to what happened with PlayStation ASBR. The game plays pretty well, it just lacked enough characters marketable to children. In fact, "Smash Bros. for Bros" sounds like a pretty plausible death knell. I wonder how expensive Crash and Spyro were for them to not get them back.
PSABR was just a disaster. If you can't get Crash, Spyro, Lara, Cloud, etc, just don't even bother. Nobody wants to play as Killzone guy and two versions of the Infamous guy.
PSABR was like SSB with Mike from StarTropics and a Stunt Race FX car instead of Mario and Link. Actually that would still be better than PSABR.
Remember when EA was doing one of those?
