This game is great! I destroyed jay which hardly ever happens in sport games... actually hardly happens at all. Honestly though the amount of course variation is incredibly nice and the gameplay seems to be pretty good. Very worthy purchase. Way better than non-online teamplay NHL15 will be .
How "simmy" is it? Is it closer to Hot Shots or Tiger?
I haven't played a Tiger game since the PS2 but I'm guessing it's closer to Tiger. I normally don't get into the sim side of golf but I'm having a lot of fun with this and I can see myself playing it for years.
There are no shooting meters like in Hot Shots Golf. You control your shot power and hook/slice with your right joystick swinging motion. To paraphrase Apollo Creed, "It's all in the wrists."
It's not too cold, not too hot, but just right. Courses can e spectacular, and with the course creator, you know you are going to see some amazing custom courses. Only 2 days in (on PS4 at least) and I have yet robe disappointed by any of the courses I have played.
That just put out a patch today that fixes the frame rate on PS4 (!!!!), so this game is basically sports GOTY right now.
My masterpiece (in progress), "Bukakke Bay":

Two holes, one battleship!
It's getting hard for me to resist this game
on PC of course
Nobody wants that put put bs in this game! If you wanna see some real masterpieces, check out http://www.pocketscout.us/The-Golf-Club/
Who the heck you gonna play on PC with? Unless you want to have finer controls for course editing, you can't be missing out on that much playing on PS4.
