I never bring up videogames and even get a little embarrassed if someone I know brings them up with me at work. Part of me admires these guys for lettin' it all hang out.
It's less about nerd hierarchy and more about a lack of social skills/awareness. I care less about kids being dumbasses because they're fucking kids. But grown-ass adults should know better.
there is a difference between being socially damaged and being a nerd. The McDonald's kid has whatever chrischan has. You can hear it in his voice.
Hell, I've went to McDonald's for those toys. I built that megazord they put out a few months back. I, however, did not act like that. When one place gave me 3 of the same smurf toy, no shits were to be had.
Towards the end, I went to one and just asked to buy the toy's outright with a big mac and asked if I could see the ones they had available. Got the last two I needed, paid, ate my big mac, no big deal.
These guys aren't special to my little pony. Or toys. Or games. I'm sure there are under developed dorks lisping and flipping out over football and baseball stats right now. They're probably the guys on facebook that about cry when their team loses.
But shit if they don't flock to MLP and enjoy making images and videos for their love.
also, you can buy just about anything you want if you look at them like normal and stone face it. The average cashier doesn't really give a shit what you do with what you buy. You could be buying panty hose eggs and shoving them up your ass and nose as long as you have correct change and don't take long to check out.
