Dang. Before and after my time. Sorry, sir.
-
No worries. I've never seen a copy of that last issue, so I anticipate it's going to be kind of hard to find.
-
I got some great NES games from Low!
- Adventure Island
- Adventures of Bayau Billy
- Blades of Steel
- Bubble Bobble
- Codename: Viper
- Final Fantasy
- Gauntlet
- Kung-Fu Heroes
- Mega Man 2
- Mega Man 3
- Mickey Mousecapades
- Popeye
- Shatterhand
- Skate or Die
- Sky Shark
- Snake's Revenge
- Star Soldier
I really do need that top loader though. 3 hours into Final Fantasy and the damn toaster keeps glitching. I try to get the damn machine to do WHAT IT WAS MADE TO DO and just read the fucking game, and it deletes my save. Fuck Nintendo and Yamauchi. I hope he's in hell, chained to a flaming toaster and forced to blow on an SMB/Duck Hunt cart that never works.

Nice! (the haul, not the hardware issues) Shatterhand's awesome.

Flea market. Found a stall with bins of action figures from a closed up hobby store, figures and a graphic novel about the Manhattan Project came to $20.
-
So I bought Gone Home and finished it. $20 for this was a better buy than any 3D movie ticket.
Gone Home is a great, little story with perfect length that's constantly toying with your expectations. Fullbright plays subtlety like a woodwind virtuoso wields an alto flute, which makes this completely immersive.
Just don't look up anything about it before you play!
