30 dollar Gamestop card, which I used to purchase 30 dollars in Xbox Live cash. The odd thing is that it wouldn't let me purchase the codes for 10 and 20 dollar amounts at the same time, but did let me purchase them separately. I used the XBLA cash to purchase Duck Tales Remastered and Dungeons & Dragons Chronicles of Mystara.

Sold off my N64 and Earthbound and bought a Zombie U Bundle of Wii U (32g, NintendoLand, Zombie U, Pro Controller) for $250. Sold Zombie U and got The Wonderful 101. It's wonderful.

Yup. I fought with it for 2 weeks, and decided why have one cart that can play just earthbound when it will cover all but $50 for a console that can play that and other games that I want.

It felt liberating though. Nothing in my collection is worth $200 to me. It wasn't even my cart from childhood so I have no deep feelings for it. Damn it, there I go rationalizing again.

I completely understand the rationale, and have considered it myself to fund a Wii U.

But it's you, I still have that image of you dressed as Ness burned into the back of my eyelids when I try to sleep.

You're welcome. Honestly if the Wii-U didn't have Earthbound on the shop, I wouldn't have bought it. You better believe it was the first game I bought/played after updating the firmware though.
