This movie was a perfectly fine summer movie but when the sequel is spawned I'm sure it's going to be awful. They are going to take the genetic mash up thing and run with it I bet. The human raptor hybrid abortion mock up leaked forever ago is totally going to happen.

I think that's the problem...they enhanced the physical puppets with CG, so in reality they actually just looked like bad CG models instead of puppets. I mean, I really didn't think the caged Raptors were physical props at all.
That's what I was thinking. J World was great and fun as ever, but just thinking about where they could with a sequel has me cringing. It's a perfect example of not being able to leave well enough alone. This movie did so well because it was so far removed not only from the JP3, but the original, and it pretty much acted as if 2 and 3 didn't even exist.Quote:

I came out of this movie happy, but I also felt that it was two hours to justify a cool scene of a guy on a motorcycle with a raptor team; and yeah, apparently that scene had been bouncing around in development hell since 2005.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORING. Kind of disappointing. I wasn't expecting much, but this is far from the calibre of JPark. A bunch of dinosaurs that don't really exist? Is this even a dinosaur movie? JP was so awesome because it was also educational. That movie got so many people pumped about learning about dinosaurs. This movie is a hollow action shell of the original with awful CG and bland writing. But it's not bad enough to be able to really make fun of it either. Yeah, it's a lot better than JP3. But does that really mean much more than "adequate"?
Chris Pratt was good, though.
