NeoTokyo track is rad too!
Most of Suda51's games have great music. Shadows the Damned stands out for me. Also the band Health's score for Max Payne 3 was pretty cool.
Mushihime Futari 1.5 has some solid songs, for example the one on the rainforest stage.
Not sure if this MvC2 thing is genuine or a joke (guessing it's a mix) but meh...it's alright, just sorta sounds like every other videogame to me

Pearl Shibakichi & others- King of Fighters '94 (When you hear the intro with "Go Red! Hey Red, c'mon! Hey Red kill it!" you KNOW you're in for a real winner. The Japan theme sounds like it could've fit in Last Resort's 1st stage.)
Manabu Namiki- Battle Garegga, Zed Blade, Ketsui, DOJ, SDOJ
Keisuke Tsukahara- Shadow Dancer (Genesis)
Matthias Steinwachs- Lionheart (Amiga)
Yuzo Koshiro- Revenge of Shinobi ("Ninja Step" kicks ass)
Hirofumi Murasaki, Morihiko Akiyama, & Masayuki Nagao- Shinobi III (As good as Yuzo Koshiro's RoS BGM is, this is a tad better. Bass guitar on "Shinobi Walk" is killer.)
Chris Hulsbeck- Jim Power (LOL, stage 1's theme is uncannily close to a certain Ys III theme- OTOH, I wouldn't mind hearing JDK try doing an arrangement of some Turrican tunes), Turrican series, Apidya (Amiga)
Aya & Megaten - Ridge Racer series (with various others), Xevious 3D/G (with Sanodg & Hiroto Sasaki- Area 2 BGM FTW), TGM3 (esp. Shirase Lv.1000-1300 BGM), Zed Blade AST (Operation Ragnarok Remix)
Falcom Sound Team JDK- Xanadu Next, Trails in the Sky FC, Ys: Oath in Felghana, Ys VI: Ark of Napishtim, etc.
Takeshi Miura- Time Crisis 3 & 4, Razing Storm (ingame music)
I really liked what I heard from it. The problem for me is that I wasn't much into the game itself which makes it hard to recall. Sometimes I do listen to game soundtracks from games I don't like but usually I end up forgetting they exist.Quote:

Chrono Cross is probably the best soundtrack overall.
Yeah Fez was a pretty poor game. Great aesthetics - aside from the soundtrack I really enjoyed the visuals - but gameplay was piss poor. I'm usually the same way, if I don't like the game I don't like the soundtrack. Fez is an exception.Quote:
