This is going to be a bad month.
This month got cheaper for me, because Arkham City is a piece of shit. It kept crashing right when I'd beat Mr. Freeze. I tried about 50 internet suggestions, since the lazy ass developers couldn't actually fix their damn game. None of them worked, and I somehow managed to dick up my save in the process, possibly by editing an .ini file. I have limited interest in starting over any time soon, and I am not buying Origins until after I finish it.
Blackgate being a $40 portable game doesn't help my enthusiam, which leaves Beyond for day one potential. I have it preordered for $48, and I'm still not sure I want to pay that. The new consoles really destroyed this fall's lineup, which is good for both my net worth and my backlog.
Blackgate looks bad, though.
This month looks really good, as Octobers always do.
I am trying to go through my backlog and I really don't want to play any of these games. WTF is wrong with me.
I won't be getting any of the new releases this month.
Next month though? Fuck me and my wallet.

Chono Trigger is Wii VC and on my XRGB setup it looks pretty damn good, although Wii U SNES games look a hair better thanks to better scaling. Your results may vary.

Got a 50 dollar gamestop gift card as a late gift, so I used it for Rune Factory 4 3DS and two used 360 games (2 for 10, Assassins Creed II, since I missed out on getting it free, and Lego Batman). Both used games work, though Assassins Creed II was in much better condition than Lego Batman. The former looked almost new and the latter was resurfaced, but still looked ok (and installed all the way with seamless cutscenes).

There's a thread on cag with the link to search clearance by store.
Its easy, even without a direct link.
BB site (full), Shop & Deals menu, there's a Clearance and More option. You can search by area, and then narrow down to specific store, or just go to a specific store. It's been very accurate from my experiences.
That process works, but the controller in question isn't listed. I see seven Wii U items, but it isn't one of them.
edit: Actually, the CAG link did work. It shows way more stuff than the drill down from the main site.
If it's not listed, then its sold out in your area, which sucks. It's been on clearance (not quite this low) for a while, so they were probably all picked up eventually.
I scooped up 2 at $17 a few weeks ago.

On the BB site, you can search by region. My instructions were pretty crappy, and I think I was directing you to search a single store. If you search by region, you can find a big list, then for each item, check on individual stores. It's a surprisingly good search.
