all children are little shits. No questions.
I popped in briefly on Thursday on the way back from Square's press event and I wish I could have stayed because the floor was press and VIPs only. Next year, I'm clearing my calendar for Thursday.
Friday wasn't so bad. I went with some friends and the crowds were huge, but the lines were manageable. A lot of games I only had to wait behind one person and some I could just walk up to and play. I met Bill Plympton and got a DVD signed. I met Hideo Baba and I got a copy of Tales of Xillia and a Tales of Symhonia poster signed. Sending the poster to a friend. Tried to go to the Name Tales panel, and got there 45 minutes early, only to miss the cut off by at least 100 people.
Sunday the crowds were just so intense it made it difficult to do much. I went with the girl and one of her friends. She'd never been to a con before but decided to cosplay and loved the attention that got her. People stopped her for a picture about every 3 seconds. Went to a Sega panel that didn't have much line. Went to artists alley and the girl got some art. Left an hour early because the crowds were too much to do anything by the late afternoon.
Yeah, Sunday was pretty crazy. My gf and I made it work, however...she just held onto my backpack and I just started plowing through people. We had a great time...she had been to SDCC a few times in the past so she knew what to expect here, but this was my first time hitting a convention of this scope. It was rad.
Now go to PAX.
Tell me why.
