Cool car.

This was neat, people have complained about it's scripted nature but I'm perfectly okay with that it'll be interspersed between various points of the game so.....same as it's ever been. Having Nathan Fillion back as Buck is great, it's kind of like seeing an old friend again and it'll be interesting to see how he'll interact with Locke given that he's the subordinate this time around. Locke himself looks cool but Mike Colter's delivery of his lines is rather wooden (and deeper in tone) compared to his character in the Halo Nightfall so I hope he opens up his range as the game develops. Oh yeah and Arbiter being back as well is awesome, love his character.
Graphically the lighting looks great and the character models look really good, resolution doesn't seem in the 1080 range but apparently it's going to be dynamic. I just hope the huge sandbox levels return because 4's weren't quite up to the level of the previous Halo's (although it looked beautiful). Warzone was also shown which looks like a lot of fun although I'm rarely on Halo's multiplayer these days, I may try it with you guys though.
All in all I'm really looking forward to this one, certainly my most anticipated holiday game.

Playing a little catch up here but a few weeks ago an awesome cinematic was shown here.
Today they released more gameplay from the Osirus team on Sanghelios:

The game looks fantastic, it's running at a dynamic resolution to maintain framerate but I'm curious as to how low it'll actually go. I'm cool with them showing more of Locke's team since I really dig them but I want to see more Blue Team stuff as well just to see where they differ in terms of maybe move sets or team dynamic. My only problem so far is that Mike Colter's Locke has a wooden delivery, I don't know if it's done on purpose or what but the guy has zero personality.

I'd like to get through the whole series before 5. I need to get through 2, 4, and ODST. Halo 2, I don't know, not that great of a game. It just doesn't flow as well as the others. I know it's ridiculous to say 11 years later but it could have used a few more months of work (I think people were saying this in 2004 though). The graphical updates are nice but maybe a bit on the garish side.
Everyone online is a monster at this game. It's really tough. I was playing H2A multi yesterday and the final score was 50-7. I was on the 7 side of course.

The chatter between everyone is really nice. Reminds me of the Uncharted games.

Damn it, I'm all aboard the Halo hype train all of a sudden. Caught some gameplay footage on Twitch and 343 released the soundtrack today and it sounds awesome.

They're betting the franchise on this game. I think it's going to be tremendous. Possible GOTY.

I need an amazing game to get that bad Metal Gear taste out of my mouth.

This got pre-ordered for me as a present, so I'll be there to shit things up.
