DmC's definitely in a weird spot. I personally would rather see a sequel to that than DMC5 (although really I'll take either) but it's not like it didn't sell, it fell short of Capcom's expectations but a lot of other games had a similar thing like Tomb Raider and that's definitely getting a sequel.

Perhaps all of the combined digital sales and discounts on Steam/Live/PSN may have changed that but whether they make a DMC5 or DmC2 is a really interesting question.

Regardless of what visual version they go with I just hope Capcom takes the reins again, as DmC plays like a knockoff made by people trying to copy DMC4 but not having any understanding of what made it good. I'm still not sure how they somehow managed to increase the button complexity of using the devil bringer while giving it less moves.

No, I didn't, which was my entire point. No one except the usual suspects would have made time for a 7/10 game on outdated hardware "featuring" waggle bullshit.

The game has pointer-based FPS controls and really well implement motion controls for only the melee. It's a solid game. Get over yourself.

Metacritic has it at 8/10, and I do remember hearing a lot of good things about it. I never got around to it myself but that's more because it didn't hit the price point I was hoping for back when I was paying attention.
