What Are You Playing (Winter, 2013-2014)
Assassin's Creed II (PC) - As advertised, this is a significant improvement over the first game. In fact, if not for the auto-platforming, this could be great. The Templar bases and Assassin crypts are more Tomb Raider than the most recent entry in that series, except that they take away your manual jumping. Mech pointed out the cyphers, which I had somehow missed up to that point, so I've gone back a bit and gotten all of those two, as they are a very cool distraction with their conspiracy theories. I'm looking forward to seeing the whole video at the end.
Crimson Shroud (3DS) - I like the miniatures being used as the characters and enemies as a change of pace. I also really appreciated being able to do two actions each turn. That encourages me to use buffs and debuffs that I almost never use in any other JRPG, unless it's absolutely required. Best of all, it's very evident this is a Matsuno game, from the plot to the look.
